Urban Light Is a Real Gem of LACMA

LACMA’s exhibits are fantastic, and its outdoor installation Urban Light is one of the city’s most recognizable landmarks. It’s a work made by the late artist Chris Burden. He collected 202 street lamps from LA and restored them to the working order. If you’re moving with petsknow that LACMA’s whole outdoor area is a great spot to spend time with your beloved dog(s).

Vincent Price Art Museum: Small but Worth Visiting

If you decide to relocate to some of the East LA neighborhoods, you must go to a nearby VPAM. It’s located at community college in Monterey Park, California, and has a vast African, Mesoamerican, Native American, and European artworks. This place’s history started when actor Vincent Price donated around 90 artworks from his collection in 1957. The collection is bigger now, and VPAM also serves as a venue for promoting less known local artists.
