Los Feliz is a hillside neighborhood in the central region of Los Angeles. Los Feliz – a happy place to be, as its name implies. Architecture in this city is impressive. Here is one of the largest urban parks in the U.S., a rugged, semi wild patch of deep canyons and circuitous hiking trails, thick with coyotes, home to the landmark Griffith Observatory and one of the very few pumas left in the Santa Monica Mountains. It’s all about balance in Los Feliz, restaurants and shops are comfortable, laid-back, but without becoming painfully cool. This city is near the 5 freeways, so you can easily access neighborhoods nearby.
Wondering what to do in your free time? You can catch a matinee at a movie theater, play some sport or just enjoy outdoor dining – there’s plenty of reasons to love Los Feliz. In Los Feliz you can find charming homes, tree-lined streets that are walker-friendly. No tall buildings here. Most of the restaurants and shops are locally-owned. If you live here for a couple of years, you will probably know everyone in the town.

Fun fact about Los Feliz: Walt Disney started his cartoon studio in his uncle’s garage and he lived here until 1950. Mickey Mouse and Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs were born here!
